Under the Maniax moniker, co-productions with Stefan Bodzin, Oliver Huntemann, D.I.M. and Tobitob from Moonbootica have propelled the pair well and truly into the limelight. Meanwhile, Electro Ferris has also joined the ranks of Deichkind and Mr Deal is similarly an artist in his own right, making tracks and doing remixes under his own name, as well as lending his vocal talents to tracks by another dynamic duo, Moonbootica, both in the studio and on stage.

Citing such legends as Elvis and Michael Jackson, and styles like breakdance and hip-hop as his chief musical influences, the real Deal was a tender 13 years old when he acquired his first cassette tape of industrial techno.  This proved the catalyst for his love affair with the "techno" phenomenon which was exploding across Europe.

In 1991 he made his first trip to the Love Parade and CSD in Berlin, life-changing experiences for so many musicmakers in the past decade. He broke off his economic studies in Maastricht (NL), taking the brave decision to seek his fortune by making music. A rocky, yet blissful path as Marc well knows, a world of long nights, long drinks and long-legged ladies.

Dirty Deal tracks are created in collaboration with studio guru Tobitob of Moonbootica.
